In the beginning of listening to a book, I realized that I had made the titles of the files for the latter half of the book different. I deleted the files from the itunes library and re-uploaded the newly named files. When I open bookmark, it seems to want to play the old file name and keeps giving me that “if you’ve just synced, please close and open bookmark again” type message over and over. I cannot start bookmark anymore. What can I do?
First make sure the tracks are showing correctly in the iPod (or Music) app under Audiobooks. You should then be able to open Bookmark and find the same titles. If you can’t find a solution, please email me at support at bookmarkapp.com.
I am already listening to an audiobook. I just bought Bookmark. How do I get it started to add a ribbon to my audiobook screen so I can actually get it bookmarked when I stop reading. Do I leave the audiobook screen and press the bookmark icon and it picks up the place from there?
Hi Nancy. To add a bookmark, click the button in the lower-right corner of the main player screen in the app. To return to that place, click the “Bookmarks” button in the upper-right corner. Please email me at support@bookmarkapp.com if you have any other questions.
I am looking at getting an iPod Touch for listening to audiobooks via USB in the car. Will this app work when the iPod is docked>
It works with most car systems. To test it, you could download the free (podcast only) lite version of Bookmark. The internals are the same as Bookmark so if it works, the full version will as well.

I have been having some problems with getting the audio books to show up on the bookmark app.
not really an audio book..but a recording that I transfered to itunes into the music section ..I then clicked options and changed it to audiobook and then draged and droped it to my device and then synced my phone ..but it still did not show up as audo book . please tell me what I am doing wrong,
